Collectively, the Business Solution Centres (BSCs) play host to or promote over 160 local business and networking events each year, with the majority being free for you and your staff to attend. Events cover a range of areas from business start-up seminars and networking opportunities through to topical workshops including sources of funding, pensions, cyber security and digital marketing.

The University of Wolverhampton’s third annual Refurb BIM event will focus on how the use of digital technologies can bring brownfield sites back into use. The event will consider how digital can improve the planning and implementation of refurbishment of existing buildings and construction of new build on brownfield sites. This event is aimed at SMEs that may have a technology or service which can help to support specific environmental issues Wolverhampton Racecourse currently face, or are interested in possible waste products for their own business. We are looking for SMEs to present their ideas to Wolverhampton Racecourse on how to solve these common environmental issues across their business. We are looking primarily for waste management companies or those developing environmental technologies as alternatives for the disposal and or recycling of plastic and paper cups, paper napkins, food waste and horse manure.Find out more

The Forum brings together regional businesses in order to explore and understand the opportunities the Commonwealth Games is bringing the West Midlands. The RPCS course is designed to teach you everything that you need to know to become a safe and professional Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) pilot.
This is a two and a half day theory element course, operated in partnership with RUSTA. The price includes examination, Ops Manual ratification and Flight Evaluation.

The next Transport Policy Group will take place on Tuesday 18th June. This session will see Highways England Divisional Director, Iftikhar Mir, present on current regional infrastructure projects affecting Chamber members. The session will also see an update from Road Haulage Association Area Manager Simon Priest on relevant issues for hauliers including Brexit preparedness and the truck cartel lawsuit. Colin Leighfield, Transport Group Chair, will also update on the Chamber’s discussion with the National Infrastructure Commission on Heathrow expansion and the future of ‘hub airports’.Find out more
