Using digital technology to unlock brownfield sites

The University of Wolverhampton’s third annual Refurb BIM event will focus on how the use of digital technologies can bring brownfield sites back into use. The event will consider how digital can improve the planning and implementation of refurbishment of existing buildings and construction of new build on brownfield sites. The event is aimed at remediation and construction companies, land and property developers, landowners including local authorities.
What will attendees gain from attending?
- How GIS and BIM (Geo-BIM) data can be integrated to improve the planning and delivery of site remediation and construction.
- How digital technology can help deliver a seamless transition from remediation to refurbishment/construction on brownfield sites.
This will be a one day event divided into four sessions of 1.45hr. Lunch will be provided and there will be coffee/tea breaks in the morning and afternoon.
