BLACK COUNTRY GREEN BUSINESS
Tuesday 13th November at 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
In the 1700s, the Black Country would begin a journey to become a powerhouse on the global industrial stage. Now, 300 years later, we have the opportunity to be a part of another revolution; the green revolution!
Join us for a unique opportunity to learn how The Black Country Living Museum strives to reduce its carbon footprint, and learn from two expert speakers on how you can improve your business’s energy use and potentially receive a grant of up to £5,000 to assist in the process.
In addition, there will be several representatives from the Black Country Growth Hub and Chamber of Commerce on hand to provide business advice beyond the environmental considerations, including investment, exporting and supply chain solutions.
The event is free to attend as part of the Low Carbon Workspaces programme; an ERDF-funded grant scheme that offers up to £5,000 to small and medium sized businesses within the Black Country to invest in measures that will reduce energy/fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions, such as LED lighting, electric vehicles or equipment upgrades.
