Innovation Vouchers

Innovation Vouchers are available to eligible local businesses through a consortium comprising of Aston University, Birmingham City University and the University of Wolverhampton.

Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), it allows small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Greater Birmingham and Solihull, Black Country and The Marches to apply for financial support, an Innovation Voucher, worth £2,500.

Black Country Transformational GOLD

Black Country Transformational GOLD (BCT GOLD) is an European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grant scheme providing match funded grants to help SMEs in key sectors to grow and create jobs so that they add value to the region’s economy.

BCT GOLD can provide capital and revenue grants of 30% of total transformational, job creation project costs.  The grants available range from £1,500 to £9,000.

BLACK COUNTRY TRANSFORMATIONAL GOLD

Green Shoots Plus

Run in association with the Express and Star and Shropshire Star and administered by the Business Solutions team at the University of Wolverhampton, Green Shoots Plus provided grants targeted at small to medium-sized enterprises in the region. The programme is funded by the Government’s Regional Growth Fund.

Support was targeted at businesses from sectors identified by the Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) as having the most potential for growth and maximising impact for the local economy. These included; advanced manufacturing, building technologies, transport technologies, environmental technologies and business services.
